After-School Robotics & Coding Program
Effective Date: May 14, 2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern participation in programs, classes, workshops, camps, events, and related services offered by Code & Bot Duarte
By registering a child for any program or service, the parent or legal guardian (“Parent,” “Guardian,” “you,” or “your”) agrees to these Terms and Conditions on behalf of themselves and the participating student (“Student”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not enroll the Student in our programs or use our services.

1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
Code & Bot Duarte provides educational and enrichment programs focused on:
Robotics and LEGO® building activities
Coding and programming instruction
STEM and technology education
After-school classes and workshops
Camps, competitions, and special events
Hands-on learning projects and team activities

2. ELIGIBILITY AND REGISTRATION
Students must meet the age requirements for the applicable program.
A parent or legal guardian must provide accurate emergency contact,
You agree to promptly update any changes to your contact or emergency information.

3. PARENTAL CONSENT
By enrolling a Student, you:
Confirm you are the Student’s parent or legal guardian
Authorize the Student to participate in all scheduled activities
Consent to reasonable supervision and instruction by staff
Acknowledge that participation may involve robotics equipment, computers, tools, and electronic devices

4. STUDENT CONDUCT
Students are expected to behave respectfully toward instructors, staff, volunteers, and other students.
Code & Bot Duarte reserves the right to remove or suspend any Student for:
Disruptive or unsafe behavior
Bullying, harassment, or inappropriate language
Damage to equipment or property
Failure to follow instructor directions or safety rules
No refunds will be issued for removal due to misconduct.

5. SAFETY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
While we take reasonable precautions to maintain a safe learning environment, participation in robotics, STEM, and hands-on activities may involve certain risks, including minor injuries.
By enrolling the Student, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation and release Code & Bot Duarte, its owners, employees, instructors, contractors, and affiliates from liability for injuries, damages, or losses except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

6. MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION
In the event of an emergency, you authorize Code & Bot Duarte staff to obtain emergency medical care for the Student if a parent or guardian cannot be reached immediately.
You are responsible for all medical expenses incurred.
Parents/guardians must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, behavioral concerns, or special accommodations that may affect participation.

7. PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS
Program fees must be paid according to the registration agreement or invoice terms.
Unless otherwise stated:
Payments are non-refundable once a session begins
Missed classes are not guaranteed to be rescheduled or credited
Returned or failed payments may incur additional fees
We reserve the right to suspend participation for unpaid balances

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All lesson materials, curriculum content, software, robotics designs, activities, and educational resources provided by Code & Bot Duarte remain the intellectual property of the Company unless otherwise stated.
Materials may not be copied, distributed, resold, or reproduced without written permission.

9. TECHNOLOGY USE
Students may use computers, tablets, robotics kits, coding platforms, and online tools during programs.
Parents acknowledge that:
Internet-based tools may be used for educational purposes
Students are expected to use technology responsibly
Code & Bot Duarte is not responsible for interruptions, technical failures, or third-party platform issues

10. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
All programs and services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
Code & Bot Duarte does not guarantee:
Specific educational outcomes
Admission into academic or competitive programs
Uninterrupted access to online systems or platforms

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Code & Bot Duarte shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from participation in our programs or use of our services.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the applicable program.

12. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Code & Bot Duarte and its staff, instructors, contractors, and affiliates from claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:
The Student’s conduct
Violation of these Terms
Misuse of equipment or facilities
Injuries caused by intentional misconduct

13. CANCELLATIONS AND SCHEDULE CHANGES
Code & Bot Duarte reserves the right to:
Modify schedules or instructors
Cancel programs due to low enrollment, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances
Transition programs between in-person and virtual formats if necessary
Reasonable notice will be provided whenever possible.

14. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of California.
Any disputes not resolved informally shall be handled in the appropriate courts located in California.

15. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updated versions become effective upon posting or distribution to families.
Continued participation after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
